MidjourneyGO

MidjourneyGo is a concept for a mobile app version of Midjourney. This app leverages the convenience and accessibility of the mobile platform to allow users to generate images using AI on the go.

  • I was inspired to take on this project to provide a unique and convenient way for Midjourney users to generate and share their work with each other. The app leverages the convenience and accessibility of the mobile platform to allow users to generate images using AI on the go. The social media functionality of the app also provides a platform for users to share their creations and discover new work from other Midjourney users.

In terms of how MidjourneyGo fits into the world of mobile app design, it is a unique application that combines AI image generation with social media functionality. Other mobile apps use AI for image generation, such as Prisma and DeepArt; MidjourneyGo sets itself apart by providing a social media platform for its users.

Process

The process of creating a mobile app prototype with Figma is straightforward. Firstly, I needed to identify the app's target audience: A user who wants to generate an image on the go and share it with the Midjourney community. I then created wireframe outlines and a flow chart for the app. After that, I designed the UI components and added interactions to the screens. Once the prototype was complete, I time recorded a screen demo using QuickTime. After recording, I edited in iMovie to add necessary audio. In this case, I wrote a script and uploaded to Descript, where an AI-generated audio recording is created. I then added the audio to the video, providing a clear and concise explanation of MidjournerGO’s user flow.
